National Steering Group - Terms of Reference

The following terms of reference for the NSG have been established:

• Consider and provide advice on issues pertinent to the implementation of the Curriculum Framework including development of implementation guides and highlighting resource requirements.

• Advice on strategies and directions for the implementation of the Curriculum Framework including the composition and focus of Working Parties set up under the project.

• Review and act on reports and recommendations of the Working Parties.

• Monitor progress on the implementation of the Curriculum Framework and make recommendations to ensure national coordination.

• Advise on appropriate mechanisms for the ongoing review of the contents of the Curriculum Framework

• Recommend appropriate communication strategies for promotion of the work undertaken in the implementation of the project.

• Act as a catalyst and steer engagement with constituents and other stakeholders in prevocational medical education and training.

• Advise and review any evaluation of the implementation of the Curriculum Framework project.
